Weddings are shockingly easy, once you eliminate the build up, the pre-parties, the gift lists, the dress shopping, the floral arrangements, the reception, and the honeymoon. I was only nervous when he looked me in the eyes, and that's no different from the rest of our relationship. Here's hoping he always makes me a little nervous.

Changing the banana bread baking container from a standard loaf pan to mini loaf pans means changing the time they take to cook. I knew this already, but what I learned was that no matter how many times I bake banana bread, I still suck at calculating proper cook time and temp.

My dog is afraid of sheets. This morning when the sheet was draped over the side of the bed, he refused to show more than the tip of his nose. I could hear his tail thumping, when he saw me, but he wouldn't come out from under the bed til I moved the sheet.
